Shipping Policy
We ship across the whole United States via USPS Priority Mail. Fall-purchased tubers will ship in November - we recommend that you do not order for Fall shipping unless you live in a warm climate and intend to plant soon, or you are experienced in storing tubers through the winter. Spring-purchased tubers will ship in March and April once freezing temperatures are no longer in the forecast. Warmer zones will ship first. The cost of shipping is a flat rate of $10 no matter the number of tubers in your order.
Please note: if your items are damaged during the shipping process, it is up to you, the customer, to file a claim with USPS to get a refund. Once it leaves our hands, we have no control and cannot be considered liable.
Return & Exchange Policy
We appreciate your patronage and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us at daybreakdahliasllc@gmail.com within 48 hours of your order arriving if you have any concerns. If there are any quality issues after shipping please take a photo that you can provide to us of the tuber and packaging if damaged. If for some reason something is wrong, we will work with you to make it right.
When you buy from us, you can feel certain you will get exactly what you paid for. All of our dahlias are bloom-confirmed and we do not sell mystery tubers. We dig and divide each variety one by one so there are no mishaps, and we label every single tuber. We have never had issues with mislabels, but if one comes up, we will work with you to make it right.
Please note: we cannot be responsible for damage due to shipping, pests, bad weather, poor growing conditions, negligence, or plant performance.
Dahlia Health Policy
All dahlia tubers sold by us are grown by us with love. We sanitize our tools between every plant when harvesting stems, dividing and taking cuttings. We are not open to the public and we do not host U-pick events in order to prevent contamination.
We cannot guarantee virus-free stock as viruses are easily transmitted in growing environments, and unfortunately, a part of nature. We don't take any chances with spreading virus within our stock, but it is impossible to ever eliminate entirely because of insects such as thrips, leafhoppers and aphids. It is too cost prohibitive to test everything for a single snapshot in time. We cull any plants that don't perform well after being given extra care and nutrients. Plant performance is one of our top priorities and we only sell from stock that looks healthy. Once the tuber is in your care, it's health and growth are up to you and Mother Nature.
